Whisker Warriors

Whisker Warriors, a new foster-based rescue with roots in the Interlake, is now accepting foster-home applications to give local cats a second chance. Founded by Winnipeg Beach’s Judy Shaw and three other cat advocates, the group brings 50+ years of combined rescue experience and is moving toward registered charity status. Adoptables, events and ways to donate are shared on their Facebook/Instagram.

Whisker Warriors Manitoba has officially launched an initiative to rescue and rehome cats across the province. The program supports fosters, provides safe environments for stray cats, and gives them a second chance at life.

Local media is highlighting the importance of this mission and the growing community support behind it.
