By signing this application, in the event that you are approved to adopt one of our cats or kittens, you fully understand that this pet must remain as an indoor pet only. The pet must never be gifted, given away or otherwise disposed of. In the event that you feel you can no longer take proper care of the pet, it must be returned to the rescue. *I confirm that I have read and agree to the adoption terms.

An application does not guarantee that you will be contacted – if you are renting and your Pet Addendum does not accompany your application, or if you do not make arrangements for that document to be received by us, we will not be in contact until this is received.

All of our cats and kittens will be spayed/neutered by our vet clinic. In the event that you wish to have this procedure completed at your own veterinary clinic, this is acceptable, at your own cost, with the procedure and tattoo information being provided to the Rescue as soon as completed.
Adoption fees are due at the time of pickup, preferably by e-transfer to whiskerwarriors25@gmail.com.
If you are adopting a young animal that is not yet altered and would like to have a microchip included at time of neuter or spay, this can be included at a cost of $50.00 which is payable to the Rescue via email – whiskerwarriors25@gmail.com.
Due to Provincial Regulations, the rescue is not allowed to administer the Rabies vaccine, which can be completed at your regular veterinary clinic. Please also be advised that the Rabies vaccine is now mandatory in the Province of Manitoba.
Your adoption fee includes 2-3 FVRCP vaccines (depending on age and length of time in care), anti parasite treatment, deworming, spay/neuter and a tattoo.
(Rabies vaccine, fiv/feleuk/heartworm snap testing and other exam fees are not included in the adoption fee (unless they had already been done while in rescue)
If the adopter wishes for these tests to be done prior to adoption, the costs of these tests would be the responsibility of the adopter
Cats and kittens must go home from their foster in a proper secure cat carrier, preferably hard cased.
Please ensure you discuss current food selections with the foster and try to continue with that for at least one week to avoid upset stomachs. If you wish to change the food, the second week should be a ½ and ½ mix, if no upset stomach is seen, the third week can be switched to the food of your choice.
Should you have any questions or concerns once you have taken your pet home, please do not hesitate to contact us. Please ensure you read the post adoption information package. It is our goal that each pet transitions to their forever home easily and gently and we will assist in any way that we can.
In the event that the animal must be returned to rescue within the first 2 weeks of adoption, your adoption fee minus $50 will be refunded.
